Hello my name is Angel A, I’m a freshman here at foothill and one of the very few from Sunset School k-8. I’m also the graduating class of 2021. Im known as the quiet one in the class that doesn’t want to talk but simply tries to get the work done then go home.
My academic goals are probably also yours and that’s getting good grades. I want to get straight A’s but I know I can’t so B’s are also fine. I also have trouble on test and hope I can change that this year. Another thing is to get better at presenting in front of class because that was always the one thing I wasn’t good at in middle school.
Angel's Goals For Freshman Year
My family is one I would never replace, even if I’m really mad at them. My parents are nice and really supportive of my decisions. I have an older sister named Angie and she is a Junior here at Foothill. She was the reason I came to this high school. She helps me with homework when I need help and showed me around foothill the first day of school. I also have a younger brother named Jaasiel and he is 2 years old, born 1 day before my birthday. Not much to talk about him but likes to fight.
I came from Sunset School K-8 in Oak View and most people don’t know where that is, it’s just in between Ventura and Ojai. Most of my friends are from Sunset and only 2 out of 8 are at foothill. 5 went to Ventura high and 1 went to Nordoff high school. I still keep in touch with them which is good. My friends are the people that are always there for me. All of them are athletic which is good because I never wanted to sit down at the tables during lunch or recess.
My favorite sport is soccer but I also like cross country but not as much as soccer. I’ve been playing soccer for over 7 years and cross country for about 2 months in middle school and I was told I was good but I don’t know. I was going to do cross country in high school but decided not to but I do also want to make it to JV in soccer.
I don’t have too many goals and that’s good because I won’t have to many stuff to deal with and so I can have breaks after completing one goal. These are my goals as a freshman and all of high school, again this is Angel and hope I can see you around.
